Current events

Whether thanks to or despite its strict architecture, its very different internal and external areas and of course its size, Franzensfeste in many respects offers ideal conditions for the staging of various events. Its geographical location at the crossroads of the Wipptal, Eisacktal and Pustertal valleys, as well as its proximity to the motorway exit, all make it easily accessible for visitors from South Tyrol and Trentino, as well as from North Tyrol. Events take place both at the museum’s own initiative and in co-operation with numerous cultural partners.
