Current exhibitions

In addition to its two current permanent exhibitions, The Cathedral in the Desert on the history, construction and architecture of the fortress, and the exhibition of the BBT Infopoint on the Brenner Base Tunnel project, Franzensfeste also each year hosts regularly changing exhibitions on different topics. The focus is on exhibitions of contemporary art and architecture as well as on the industrial history and technical development of South Tyrol. Selected works of art and art installations have been purchased and today belong to the permanent collection of the fortress.
