The BBT Infopoint was opened in November 2007 in the village of Franzensfeste. With the move to the fortress itself, the existing exhibition was expanded and opened in late autumn 2015 as a new permanent exhibition on the construction of the Brenner Base Tunnel.

Covering an exhibition space of almost 200 m², the BBT project is presented in all its fascinating technical variety in the impressive historic rooms of the fortress. Highlights include interactive scanner trips into the tunnel as well as the multimedia experience of tunnelling.
