The Vintl/Weitental Association presents "Malaguena. Wenn das Leben so spielt" a comedy about euthanasia. A very controversial topic in society. The subtitle "wenn das Leben so spielt so" was added on purpose, because the characters drawn in Malaguena courageously accept the not always easy game of life. They are confronted with questions about euthanasia, their deep friendship helps them to maintain a positive view of life.

Content:
Elena, Giovanni and Raffaele are three 50 year old men who have known each other since high school and have maintained a close friendship throughout all these years. Monthly meetings are a fixed point, where the three friends get out of their daily lives, cook, eat and drink together. They relive old times and make fun of each other with a good sense of humor - in short: they celebrate life together. On one of these evenings, however, something completely unexpected happens. One of the three reveals to the others that he is terminally ill and will decide for himself when he wants to leave life to avoid a harrowing end.
The director is Gerd Weigel, for whom this production is already the sixth collaboration with the theatre company Vintl/Weitental.
