The current educational offer for school classes
The educational formats for schools focus on active participation of children and young people. The aim of these actions is to prompt the students' interest in the history and architecture of the fortress and/or contemporary art, as well as to facilitate age-appropriate access.
Exciting background information on the many stories contained in the fortress
The splendid bulwark of Franzensfeste presents itself as a gigantic labyrinth of constantly recurring sequences of rooms and enfilades, hidden dead-ends and paths, all waiting to be deciphered and discovered. In a “treasure hunt” through Franzensfeste children and young people can learn about the secrets of the gold once stored in the fortress or have fun learning all about the history of the fortress and its surroundings.
