Pride Month

Time period

01. June – 30. June 2025

About the event

In June, we celebrate Pride Month – and send out a clear signal in favour of openness, respect and belonging.

Three campaigns accompany us throughout the month

Pride flags on the façade
Our façade will once again be adorned with colourful Pride flags this year. They symbolise diversity, acceptance and show that queer people are welcome here: Queer people are welcome here.

Poster with Pride flags
The poster of the ‘netz | Offene Jugendarbeit’ project shows a selection of Pride flags that symbolise different sexual orientations, identities and forms of relationships. QR codes link to more in-depth materials and a new brochure that will be published in 2025 – as an invitation to engage further with the topics.

A clothesline of diversity
Over the course of the month, a colourful gallery of individual figures will be created on a line – designed with different hairstyles, items of clothing and accessories. Visitors are invited to add their own elements or change existing ones. The growing diversity encourages people to explore questions such as ‘How free am I to be myself?’ or ‘What does my outward appearance say about my identity?’.

Pride Daylight Party – celebrating diversity together

We are celebrating a day party for all generations on 27 June – colourful, open and inviting.
Music, creative hands-on stations, inspiring talks and a warm atmosphere invite you to experience queer life realities in all their diversity. Whether young or old – everyone is welcome to spend a day full of joie de vivre and encounters with us.
The detailed programme will be announced shortly.

Pride is here to stay – beyond June

Pride is more than just a month. Beyond June, we will continue to provide impetus for visibility, reflection and social dialogue. Our museum shop is expanding its range to include books and materials that address queer perspectives and invite discussion. Further lectures and events are also planned
