This year's show features 11 artistic positions that have already been selected in autumn 2020. Interested artists were invited via an open competition in the summer of 2020 to question the Christmas season and its effects on consumer behaviour with a view to the changes caused by the pandemic and to take an artistic stance on it.

We are still in the time of the pandemic. The artistic positions have therefore retained their topicality. Even more so, they span an arc from the first year of the pandemic - which represents a caesura - to 2021. Which changes are tangible, which new priorities have been retained and which good intentions have long since been forgotten?

On the opening evening, the artists will explain their artworks during a joint tour from position to position.
This can lead to an exciting dialogue between artists and visitors.
