The splendid bulwark of Franzensfeste presents itself as a gigantic labyrinth of constantly recurring sequences of rooms and enfilades, hidden dead-ends and paths, all waiting to be deciphered and discovered. In a “treasure hunt” through Franzensfeste children and young people can learn about the secrets of the gold once stored in the fortress or have fun learning all about the history of the fortress and its surroundings.
